This has nothing to do with Momoiro Clover, just wanted to say hello. Also, here's a Dreamcatcher video which is audacious in that the it's inviting comparison to one of the most commanding girl-group dances I've seen, and of course can't hold a candle to it, but nonetheless is oddly interesting because it doesn't seem a statement of purpose (group is actually veering towards pop-goth, it would seem), just...

Nicely executed jump at 2:15.

ITNW was also used to evaluate groups in Produce 101. There was a big deal made of the fact that one of the competitors was once in the running to be in SNSD.

It's interesting that the ITNW dance has gained its mythological stature only with hindsight (outside of the SNSD fandom, anyways), as within the decade, it was so far over-shadowed by the hook dances instead. Interesting: I'd been listening casually last year to I.O.I whenever YouTube threw them at me, with the feeling that they performed really invitingly while the songwriting and singing wasn't up to the rest of the presentation. Had no knowledge of their origin on reality TV.

Pledis's news group Pristin has seven members (out of a ttoal of ten) who were contestants in Produce 101. Two of them, Nayoung and Kyulkyung, made it to I.O.I.
