Wow scary--car accidents are terrifying, so glad to hear you're okay. I've been there, it takes a few days at least to shake the horrid feeling. But that was actually a *good* Christmas event; bad that you smashed your car, but good that you are okay--that's the important thing. A Christmas miracle if you will :)
Da pointed out that had the tire blown while I was going 80 on a Missouri highway, he likely would have brought me home in a thimble --his words, not mine. So, I am very much in agreement with you. ^^
Oh gosh, Jen! Aaaaaaaah, that's... aaaaaah! D: D: I'm so glad you're all right, that's utterly terrifying. I can't even imagine, that must have been the worst feeling in the world. Oh gosh... *HUGS*
On um, the bright side? You can use that horrific experience to write about traumatic car/spaceship/chariot crashes in books now? Um... Yeah ok, that's not much of a consolation prize.
<3<3<3 I'm seriously glad you're all in once piece, though. Feel as better as possible, love.

Yep it's official, you have experienced what is called a "shitty christmas" according to all the rules and conventions governing such things. Sadly there is no trophy or similar award for such an occasion but you WILL get all the completely useless sage advice you can handle. Things like, "It'll get better" and "This too shall pass." In the end though all that matters is you're alive and okay, so despite the shitty aspects you can chalk this holiday season up as a partial victory if nothing else. Given your description of your 'adventure' I'd say that's a pretty good deal all things being equal

There's no trophy? Dammit.
Agreed on the partial victory business, though. As I commented elsewhere, this could have gone a great deal worse. I'm glad to have come home in one piece.
Jeebus, you did win Christmas, though! Yay on the games and such --my brother brought his Wii with him from California and that was an interesting experience for sure. I envy you the anime --there hasn't been time for any so far this break. ITunes cards are excellent things, as well. ^^
The pirate flag was entirely appropriate. Spade is a spade is a spade. :D

asjfklda That must have been terrifying. I'm sorry your car is in such a sad state, but I'm really glad you're okay. ILU?
Um. I am fine, and have nothing else of interest to tell to you, alas, although now I wish I had a good story for you. :D

ILU TOO. The worst part in a way was the prospect of NO ONE to spend Christmas with. I do not have your capacity to amuse myself.
<3 for La Remede, though! That made my afternoon scads better.
