So terribly sad, espeically when one takes their current relationship into account. What I love most, I think, is that even though it's sad, there are bits that you can't help but giggle at. Like: Cross heart and hope to fly?

It makes me laugh a little, and then just want to hug Wolfram into little bits. And poor Cheri! Keeping all her worry bottled up while comforting Wolf. ;-;

I think that's the most tragic thing of all is that they had this closeness once, lost it and now neither one of them knows how to get it back. *pets them both*

And Cheri-as-Maou has always been a character I pitied and wanted to write. She's got so much she's responsible for and so little actual power....
