I have to say that the 2ch comments are spot on. While I agree that there should never ever be an excuse for hitting a woman, (especially as hard as he seems to have hit her), it's disturbing when someone can follow another person like that. Just where is the line drawn between being a passionate and diehard fan, and being a stalker? Those diehard fans will tell you: "But it's not like I'm HURTING them!" Still, at what point does it go from overly infringing on someone's personal time and space, and just being "passionate"? Unless there is proof that he felt physically threatened or in danger, he should face charges for hitting her. However, if she was following him as much as seems to be the case, that really should be taken into account as well.

Also, the comments on this being covered up, Johnny's harassment and abuse allegations being covered up, all of it is just disgusting and creepy.

Personally, I think using violence is never okay on anyone, be that man or woman.

I agree with the rest, though. I won't say "she deserved it" or "it was her own fault", because that's dangerously close to the logic of "dress slutty, get raped", but the guy is only human and if she pushed him to this point, then yes, he shouldn't have hit her (especially this hard!), but what she did should be taken into account.

He shouldn't have dealt with the stalker directly, that only makes things worst (if he hadn't punched her but approached anyway, the stalker could have misunderstood the action and believe to be right). You always seek for help whenever a stalker is involved, or go to find the police.

And I found awful the discrimination against the guy because of his looks, specially that girl that called koreans as "that race", ugh

A Snow Man with hands though. Lol. He's gross, he's not even cute. I wonder if this would have happened if the fan is pretty or at least sexy, well probably not.

in own opinion, even though hikaru's isn't that good looking but he is too way nice. It's just that he got pretty irritated and his hands got full that he immensely punched his stalker. Now who wouldn't?
