I actually prefer your version of this to the actual cast? I am so much more interested in this.
STRAIGHT UP CRYING AUGH. I mean, this film as frustrating as it is, I felt was perfectly cast so that you preferred this is wonderful (though the more I discuss the ~details~ of this genderswap with Sophie the more I totally wish this had happened. Narcissistic? Possibly and I so don't care.)

I'M JUST SO SO GLAD THAT THIS IS WORKING FOR PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHOSE TASTE IS IMPECCABLE LIKE YOUR LOVELY SELF. I saw Breakfast on Pluto years ago, I desperately need a rewatch.

OH GOD IF HOLLYWOOD COULD GET ON THE GENDERSWAP BANDWAGON, SO MANY BEAUTIFUL THINGS COULD HAPPEN.

Oh Cillian Murphy and his beautiful, expressive face, I can't even.

The thing I love most about genderswap, and it's particularly true of this, is that swapping the genders brings out all these interesting tensions and dynamics in the text which are such fun to play with. Really though, so many projects could probably have been improved with a genderswap I swear. And :D :D you are far too kind.

I'VE NOT SEEN THE TROTSKY BUT ANYTHING INVOLVING TALENTED CANADIANS IS AUTOMATICALLY SOMETHING I WILL BE INTERESTED IN. (Ugh Quebec City, home of my heart, I miss you so. Let's be real, I miss Canada in general.) Augh I know exactly what you mean my love for film/television is fucking boundless and there are so many things they could/should be doing and they aren't and thus I feel the need to fix it in my own small ways ( ... )
