I'm going to steal jedi_of_urth's answer because it is exactly mine: This one is always easy for them, because I know the exact moment. "I could save the world but lose you." That line happened and I was a goner from then on. Yuppers, that was it for me too. :)

2. What I think their challenge is:

The whole Rose will wither and die thing, while he won't. That's honestly their only challenge. But it's a doozy.

3. What makes me happy about them:

They love each other so fully and rightly and completely. Soulmates, heartmates, mindmates.

4. What makes me sad about them:

That due to the constraints of the show, we could never get a full-on happy ending for them. *sigh*

5. What moment I wish had never happened:

The entirety of "The Girl in the Fireplace." Such complete crap, and wholly out of character on both the Doctor and Rose's parts.

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:I'm cool with Rose with 10.2, but technically, he *is* the Doctor too, so I

Sheldon/Penny

1. When or if I started shipping them:

I watched the first season and a half in a blur, so I'm not completely sure, but I think it hit me during "The Panty Pinata Polarization" (season 02, episode 07). The chemistry? SO THERE!

2. What I think their challenge is:

Uhm, have you watched the show?! LOL!

3. What makes me happy about them:

The zing, the back and forth, the fact that they'd be absolutely perfect for each other when looking at their backgrounds, and what the other needs to make themselves a better person.

4. What makes me sad about them:

The fact that the frickin' show WILL NEVER GO THERE!

5. What moment I wish had never happened:

Every moment with Leonard and Penny, and Amy and Sheldon.

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:

No one. :)

7. My happily ever after for them:Amy's a stepping stone to open Sheldon up to romance, Penny realizes that Leonard treats her as crappily as all of her other boyfriends, just in a different way, and the Sheldon and Penny wind up

Jeff/Annie

1. When or if I started shipping them:

Like many, it was their interaction in "Debate 109," for me specifically the 'Annie lets her hair down' scene.

2. What I think their challenge is:

On the show, the fact that Annie is still a bit too young, and Jeff is too much of a playboy. In actuality, the writing and lame-ass-ness of Dan Harmon, and how he approaches "shipping" and the absurdity.

3. What makes me happy about them:

When they're good, they are REALLY good.

4. What makes me sad about them:

They are so rarely good anymore. :(

5. What moment I wish had never happened:

Oh, lord, so many to count, I can't even ....

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:

No one, cuz I'm a shipper like that!

7. My happily ever after for them:

Annie grows up a bit more, Jeff opens his heart to romance, and they live happily ever after.

Betty/Daniel

1. When or if I started shipping them:

Pretty much from the final scene in the first episode.

2. What I think their challenge is:Daniel was too

It occurs to me that I asked these two ships that I might have had a hard time answering myself, especially when I started shipping them. Because both of them sort of crept up on me, at least with J/A I can point to some moments that pushed it along substantially, but B/D was just like...I don't know, I just know eventually I did and really couldn't imagine them not being together in the end. At least we got hints that they will get to live happily ever after together.

I generally ship pretty quickly, which is why when I don't like the 'lead' ship soon enough, I know they ain't ever getting me. And Jeff/Annie wasn't the lead ship, so it took seeing them in an even remotely romantic situation for me to see them in that light. Daniel/Betty just seemed like it HAD to happen.

*Sigh* Every time I see this icon of yours, I mourn what could/should have been.

Stefan/Caroline

1. When or if I started shipping them:

When Stefan comforted/helped Caroline in the bathroom scene in "Brave New World."

2. What I think their challenge is:

Stefan needs to get over his Petrova-shaped issues, and Caroline needs to get over her werewolf-shaped leanings, but mostly the former.

3. What makes me happy about them:

Stefan is just adorable, and sparkly, and becomes a real hero when with Caroline. Caroline is calm and cool, but still the awesome that is Caroline with him. Plus, chemistry! Such pretty, pretty chemistry.

4. What makes me sad about them:

Stefan's Petrova-shapped issues, Caroline's werewolf-shaped leanings, the complete and utter lack of scene-age and interaction since frickin' episode 13 of season 02 (no, 'the two second, just the facts ma'am dance' in 2.18 didn't count).

5. What moment I wish had never happened:

With them, nothing at this point, really.

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:I could live with Stefan with Rebekah, because I do like them and

Stefan needs to get over his Petrova-shaped issues, and Caroline needs to get over her werewolf-shaped leanings, but mostly the former.

-- I think Stefan has more issues than Caro... and I think Caroline and Tyler were so cute until that whole "siring" thing... Bear in mind I have only seen up to episode 11 of Season 3 so am sure am missing out on some scene-age (wouldn't you know, it's not a word! *g*) that would make me ship Caroline/Klaus.

-- I too could live with Stefan/Rebekah

I don't know when it hit me. I watched the first 18 episodes of season 01 in four days, so I really can't say. I just know that sometime between episode 11 and 18, I had fallen for them.

2. What I think their challenge is:

Copying/pasting from an earlier post because it works: (And the key word would be challengeS, plural.)

For Elena, it's ...

1) I can't love two brothers, it's wrong.
2) I can't love Damon, what does that say about me?
3) I said it was Stefan, always, only Stefan! Oops!
4) I said I'd never fall for his brother

While Damon is still hung up on:

1) She's Stefan's girl.
2) I really don't deserve her.
3) She's better off without me.
4) She sorta has the hots for me, but she's not really *really* into me.
5) I am getting my brother back, do I really want to risk that for a girl who doesn't love me even if I love her?
6) Since I love her, I should step back and let her be with who she loves.

I wtache dthe first 18 episodes of S1 in four days too and I became a Damon girl after watching Blood Brothers.

So much. Their communication, their chemistry, their realness. Their flirting, their tension, their understanding of one another.

Elena chooses Damon, Damon realizes he is her first choice. They love, they laugh, they fight, they make-up, and a few years down the road, Elena decides to become a vampire for him, and they spend eternity loving, laughing, fighting, making up and being generally AWESOME FOREVER!
Would be so awesome.

Same here. That scene was amazing.

I can see Elijah with Katherine and none else on the show...so yeah it has to be Katherine.
