Thoughts on some new shows ....

So I sampled a batch of new shows and here's what I'm sticking with, dropping and still iffy about.

I feel the same way about NCIS: LA
I kept on saying "I IZ SO CONFUSED!" during it. It's not NCIS. But it sure has it's pretty boys. XD

The Vampire Diaries, I only seen the Pilot episode. The couple in the show is bland for me. I do love Ian in it because he's so hot. He also plays the Bad boy with a good heart which always ALWAYS gets to me.

The constant editing in the pop songs was so fucking annoying. I think I tweeted about HOW ANNOYING IT WAS. FIRST "Oh awesome Onerepublic!!" Then the Fray, then all kinds of other pop songs. Katy Perry's Thinking of you. GOD, I thought CW was good at being indie. WTF!? Also, the scenes with the edits. It's like the girl comes in with the guy and the song is on the radio. *headdesk*

I haven't seen any of the keepers yet. I wanted to see Eastwick because the movie after it is one of my all time favs. Flash Forward is highly recommended my tons of my friends so I'll watch that. Plus, Joseph Fiennes = YUM. I'll catch Cougar Town and Community as well.

TVD, just no. I like Joseph Fiennes, but I'm still having issues with 'but, but, but, RALPH is so much better.' I just need to tell myself that his brother is, no doubt, quite happy for little bro, LOL~

Same here. I loved the one with the blond chick in it. *sigh* Plus, they had this other guy in it too as an agent. It kind of fit the whole NCIS idea but now. ... Okay?

Ooh I know you love Ralph. I had a crush on Joseph since "Shakespeare in love." I bet Ralph is proud of him. My mom and I talked how they are such good actors the other day.

I'm watching Comm right now. But, I'm falling asleep during it due to lack of sleep. BUT HILARIOUS. I'll watch the rest later. ;D

Yes, definitely give TGW a try. It was very, very good. I quite loved it.

With all of the raving about FF, I seriously feel like I watched a completely different show from the rest of the world. I have no idea what I saw, haha. Definitely didn't like it.

I LOVED The Good Wife, and Community is AMAZING. So funny. I honestly think it's the show I'm looking forward to the most next week! Just awesome.

Didn't watch any of the other shows.

I feel that way about Modern Family (and Lost actually).

Thanks to you, I'm hooked on Community! Very simple, and charming and the characters on fantastic.

I was thinking about giving Modern Family a try. That's too bad it isn't working out for you. But just by watching some of the previews, and reading about it, I can see what you mean when you said it's just trying too hard.

I am so in love with Cougar Town and Flash Forward. I have The Good wife on DVR. But Community is just not going to be for me.

Hee - we had the exact same thoughts on Modern Family. It was just too much. Like you're not a member of the cool kids if you don't rave about it. Well, I'm cool with not being a cool kid.

I was bored with Vampire diaries after 15 minutes but then I kind of knew I would be since I was also bored with Twilight. I need more snark in my vampires.

Did you ever try and watch the whole episode of Community? Because I recall seeing that you had just watched clips here and there. That alone could have been the issue. If you have watched the whole thing, then never mind.

I did watch the episode. I think my problem is I'm not a Joel McHale fan and I think you have to be to enjoy this. It was funny, it's just not for me.
