Friday was spent listening to records and writing people letters.

Saturday was spent watching Citizen Kane (soooo good) and dressing up in drag for a dance party.

Sunday was spent reading all god damn 320 pages of Beloved (great great great read)

Therefore, for the rest of monday, I will do nothing.

Yesterday I went to the Elliott Bay Book Company (love) and picked up two things: a chapbook of great poems from a guy I've never heard of (Michael Daley, anyone?) and a book that, in four pages, has blown my mind.

Wow, SIFF is awesome!  So far I've seen 9(!) siff films, with maybe 3 or 4 more to go.  Here's my reactions.  My 2 favorite films are in bold.

Eagle vs. Shark (comedy) - Yes, it's a lot like Napoleon Dynamite, but it's better, and the female lead, who is the non-napoleon-dynamite-ish character is wonderful.  New Zealand
