so much has happened since the last time that i wrote an entry that its hard to wirte EVERYTHING in this one blog. life has been good, i love all my friends and everythign that im doing, but for some reason i still feel that want for somethign more. maybe i need therapy? who knows. im feeling kind of down... hence the fact that im writing in my ( Read more... )

I agree, making time for yourself is important. Like just hanging out doing nothing or watching TV and relaxing, or if that doesn't do it for you, you could find something else... like for me, the biggest thing I do for myself is playing piano. I'll just sit there for an hour playing by myself while thinking about stuff and it always makes me feel calmer and better ( ... )

I MISS YOU SO MUCH. I read this post and almost cried. I know exactly what you're going through. Exactly. the heartbreak. the stress. the depression. the feeling of being spread too thin over everything. And I know the college feeling. Alston, just remember you are an amazing person and you have so much to be proud of. Enjoy high school. I know it seems hard and stressful. I won't lie- its only going to get harder. But its sooo worth it. Not just worth it as a stepping stone. Enjoy your time while you're there. College is amazing, but high school is too. Do what YOU want to do. Stop thinking what colleges and others want you to do. I don't want to sound like a bum convincing you to stop everything, but think about it. Quit things that don't make you happy. I know it may not seem as simple as that, but it really is. The find things that truly let you enjoy yourself. I'm sure you will find amazing things that you will want to do. Do one thing a day that makes you happy. Whether it be singing in your room to Kelly Clarkson or Mariah or ( ... )
