So am in Canberra at the moment, killing time while the Aunt is in her work appointments. I knew I should have gotten my pen and journal out of the car when I could.
Andrew and I drove out to Bungendore a few weeks ago, on our way to Canberra, to see the windfarm that's near there - it's called Capital Energy Windfarm. We just took roads to Bungendore and then took a stab at the direction we thought we should go in. We ended up across the road from the entrance, but we didn't try to go in, and I doubt we would have been let in anyway.
There's also one near Collector, which you can get a really good view of from the train to Yass (from Sydney).
Ah! The Aunt tells me it was prolly the Collector one we saw ... it would totally suck if we weren't ever allowed into windfarms. *sigh* I may have to make some phone calls.
