Veronica Mars is coming!

Brilliant!!

I can't believe Channel Ten's picked up Smallville and are going to screen it from season two. I can't believe I still haven't made my way through that season. *groan* I'm like one disc from the end and feel my brain creak in protest at the thought of picking up where I left off. Is Veronica Mars going to be on TV here? I've heard such great things about it!

Are you going to the Strokes gig on Wednesday? I'm trying to decide if it's worth lining up for tickets on Tuesday.

Yep, Channel Ten's running previews, it's coming soon apparently. Here's fingers crossed they commit to it and keep it going and not fuck it around like Seven with Buffy, etc.

Happily, no, I have not the slightest interest in the Strokes gig. I do have a friend who's going to line up tomorrow so let me know if you'd like to be hooked up.

i got bogged down in season two, also. the only ep from season three i went ahead to watch out of turn was the one with Desiree. no wait, also the one where martha's taken hostage. i don't know why i'm so reluctant to watch. yeah, some snogging would be much nicer.

I can totally see the 'baum's boredom. Even Welling whose acting has improved so so much and my appreciation of his subtlety tripled threefold, he looks vaguely bored.

Urgh! But I shall make it through, I want to get to Kal of Season Three even though part of me is dreading how badly that might be treated. *mutters heartfelt thanks for the existence of whedon and abrams*

well, about kal... i've watched some fan-made videos that incorporate kal footage, and wow. TW can play sexy, all right. you're right, i think, that the script-writers have no idea what the audience is really interested in, or they're incompetent to get it across, anyway. i won't harp any more on the stupidity of their continuing to push lana as the star of the show.

last night i was thinking about TW's beauty, comparing it to CB's. now that i've been doing my patented immersion method of getting to know someone's face, of course. TW looks, naturally, like a model. he wears clothes beautifully, effortlessly. CB is an actor, and though he's gorgeous, there's more soul behind the eyes. more intelligence, at least apparently. not to put TW down -- he truly does get better as the series goes along (and i hope he has a future after SV), but bale's some kind of near-genius, the way he disappears into roles.

now, MR. he better have a brilliant career! or i will personally hold hollywood responsible.

Totally nailed it, especially with the intelligence. And the darkness, don't you love the darkness? There's always a secret thought in his eyes, like a little part of his mind is always somewhere else, thinking about something else and he totally isn't going to share. I like to think it's an Aquarian thing but that might be a particularly potent form of self-flattery. And then it's like Z and I say to each other, he's so totally insane, the roles he chooses, the things he does in and for those roles, we wouldn't have it any other way.

Which, um, I may have turned into a wallpaper. *cough* Obsessed? Definitely not. You want me to find those Bale picspams I did way back when? :p

*sigh* MR. In another universe, he's already a briliant star on stage and screen and small screen too and gah, I wish I lived there. Don't you?

Mind you, I reckon we should have TW costar in that dirty druggie S&M movie we have planned for DanRad. Wotcha reckon? :p
