i got bogged down in season two, also. the only ep from season three i went ahead to watch out of turn was the one with Desiree. no wait, also the one where martha's taken hostage. i don't know why i'm so reluctant to watch. yeah, some snogging would be much nicer.

I can totally see the 'baum's boredom. Even Welling whose acting has improved so so much and my appreciation of his subtlety tripled threefold, he looks vaguely bored.

Urgh! But I shall make it through, I want to get to Kal of Season Three even though part of me is dreading how badly that might be treated. *mutters heartfelt thanks for the existence of whedon and abrams*

well, about kal... i've watched some fan-made videos that incorporate kal footage, and wow. TW can play sexy, all right. you're right, i think, that the script-writers have no idea what the audience is really interested in, or they're incompetent to get it across, anyway. i won't harp any more on the stupidity of their continuing to push lana as the star of the show.

last night i was thinking about TW's beauty, comparing it to CB's. now that i've been doing my patented immersion method of getting to know someone's face, of course. TW looks, naturally, like a model. he wears clothes beautifully, effortlessly. CB is an actor, and though he's gorgeous, there's more soul behind the eyes. more intelligence, at least apparently. not to put TW down -- he truly does get better as the series goes along (and i hope he has a future after SV), but bale's some kind of near-genius, the way he disappears into roles.

now, MR. he better have a brilliant career! or i will personally hold hollywood responsible.

Totally nailed it, especially with the intelligence. And the darkness, don't you love the darkness? There's always a secret thought in his eyes, like a little part of his mind is always somewhere else, thinking about something else and he totally isn't going to share. I like to think it's an Aquarian thing but that might be a particularly potent form of self-flattery. And then it's like Z and I say to each other, he's so totally insane, the roles he chooses, the things he does in and for those roles, we wouldn't have it any other way.

*sigh* MR. In another universe, he's already a briliant star on stage and screen and small screen too and gah, I wish I lived there. Don't you?

picspam, yes please. at the time, i hardly knew who he was. such a beautiful young man. at moments, i think he needs just a bit more chin, but that's ok. imperfection can be sexy. *g*

TW in that movie! oh man! too much prettiness in one place. i'm going to be interested in how dan matures. he was beautiful last year but not this year. we'll see what next year brings.

oh, someone on my f-list posted a screed against HP fans and their "sick" obsession with radcliffe. i took umbrage (joke, joke), though i'm not obsessed with him at all. admiring is one thing, you know? obsession is something else and involves tracking down old bale movies, just as i did old MR movies.

and btw, MR in rave macbeth still stands as gorgeousness triumphing over drek.

my sister once lent me her cassette of that movie where depp hallucinates being. ... oh yeah, don juan de marco. it even had brando eating popcorn in bed. awright. and then there's edward scissorhands. yummy boy, that depp.

gerry and i are watching the SV dvds again. i can't get over how lean MR is, and how i wish he hadn't fixed his nose. haha, i still can't get over that. :D
