www.petfinder.com is now aiding in the effort to rescue animals in New Orleans... they actually finally mentioned pets on CNN just now... I cought the last part of it, but at least people are acknowledging the animals!

My heart goes out to the people, but it goes more to the animals. So in watching all of this on CNN, All that has been said is that 3 dolphins were moved before the storm ever hit, and a seal from a water park was shot by police. James Doohan, known for playing Cmdr. Montgomery "Scotty" Scott died today, at age 85.

other sad news in fandom, legendary comic artist Jim Aparo died today as well. One of the all time definitive Batman artists, and he defined the characters of Phantom Stranger, Spectre, and Aquaman.

I'm very sad. :(
