i've fallen into a rut.

so, i spent the evening hanging out with my cousin, JC.
it’s been such a long time since i’ve seen him.
it’s funny how fast people grow up. 
i swear it was only yesterday when he was just a kiddo.
that’s such a strange feeling.
next may....
i’ll be 23 years old.

i’m old.
and getting older.

i have such a headache tonight
and i’m incredibly sleepy.
beyond belief, really.
but i suppose that is to be expected 
when you are stuck sleeping in a twin bed
with three dogs.
…who hog the bed.
i managed to get a corner of the bed
and enough covers to cover,
well, my feet.
hopefully tonight will be better…
but i imagine not.

so,
this weekend i tried
buffalo.
elk.
kangaroo.
emu.
and venison.
i like them in that order.
but, it doesn’t make me want to eat meat again.

i also picked apples and raspberries with my sister and momma.
we canned all kinds of things too.
like apple sauce and raspberry jam.
i love my sister.
and my momma too.
