Can anyone recommend some oldish Spanish-language novels, not translated, and particularly of the science fiction variety? I use the term oldish because I typically don't like modern fiction; in English, at least, it tends to have a lot of characters/dialogue/drama. I'm looking for something that is oriented around narration and science or

Borges is a nice example of fiction from early to middle XX century.
