Nice job! Jensen is ridiculously cute. So sweet that he tried to run away to San Antonio. Also, I didn't really appreciate the awesomeness of these lines until the second time I read them: Superheroes don't need doctors. They're invincible. What that says about Jensen, being afraid that Jared will grow up and not need him anymore... fantastic. :)

GWEN. You can look at this story and SEE THE DEADLINE LOOMING. It just gets less and less clever as it slides into a soupy puddle of ridiculous schmoop. And I had such PLANS for it, too! At the very least, it was going to get a title.

I... recognize that feeling. I've done it myself and even if others like the story, I always know it wasn't what it could have been, but there's no way I'm going back to it. I don't know, at the beginning deadlines didn't make me compromise, or at least, I don't think so. Possibly I am more discriminating now, or just a hella lot slower writer (well, that last is true, but largely because of lack of writing time, not so much that the writing itself goes slowly - though that too *sigh*), but that's why I'm not taking on deadlines anymore. I applaud you for the amount of stuff you've got going on!

Also, nice to see it has a title. :)

TITLE! Yes. I so want to turn this into what it should have been, but I guess one good thing about having all these deadlines is that I just don't have time to do it! Which is good in that it might be a little difficult to explain why it's kind of the same story all over again, only different.

I wish I could lay off the deadline fics like you (because I do hate this feeling) but I will sit around for ages and not write anything at all if I don't have deadlines. Or, at least, I won't finish anything. Which, to the outside world, appears much like not writing.

That was absolutely wonderful and sweet and a whole bunch of stuff I can't think of off the top my head. I loved Jared and his voice throughout. I loved the phone conversation with his mom. I loved Danny and Chris and of course Jensen stole my heart as quickly as he did Jared's. I smiled though the whole story. Thank you.
