I've been accepted into my second choice school, but was waitlisted at my top choice. Are deadlines usually posting deadlines or arrival deadlines?

Does a deadline of Dec. 1st mean that I can click "submit" on my application at 11:59pm on Dec. 1st, or on Nov. 30th?

My earliest application deadline is December 14th. If I take the GRE on November 24th and put in the school code for that university so that my scores go straight to that university, will my analytical writing score make it to the university on time? Thank you.

It makes me furious when grad schools decided to make last minute changes to their application process. One particular school had been listing their deadline as December 30th...today I was double checking my info and saw that it had been changed to December 1st.

Grrrr.
