This is kind of a stupid question, but does anyone know whether University of Michigan deadlines are at 5 pm or midnight? My deadline's today, but nowhere on the website do they say anything about time (other than to try to submit 2-3 weeks early-- which I obviously didn't do!) Thanks!

ETA: The office is closed for the holiday, so I can't call and

michigan, deadlines

it may depend on the program, but I think it's 5 pm.

...I'm now having a heart attack. Is it normally 5 for most applications? I have *never* seen that on a website, and didn't know that there was even a question. And probably just nixed two of my applications because I submitted them this evening...

If they let you submit it, it's probably fine... don't worry!

I've definitely submitted online apps to schools within few hours of midnight on the deadline (taking into account time zone differences!), and I didn't receive any indication that they were late or unacceptable. All the schools that wanted apps in by a certain time (typically 5PM) made that fact abundantly clear. I wouldn't worry. Like the OP said below, if the online app lets you submit it, you're probably fine.

Do 5pm Michigan time (So does that make it central?) just to be safe.

Thanks-- I'm almost done, but I just wanted to know if I could nap/chill out for a while or if I had to get it in RIGHTNOW. Looks like the answer is RIGHTNOW.
