Ha- so true! Do they know my advisor? All his emails fit on one line. It's like he's challenged himself to use as few words as possible. Makes mine seem uptight and formal.

oh i want to say that i have to add a question here because this might get deleted cause its not related to applying to grad school (i read the rules like my friend on here suggested)

so the Q is: do you ever have a hard time writing an email to a prof when u wanna ask them something about your LOR or anything related to your app?

I sent this to one of my professors a few weeks ago after we had a minor miscommunication via email and she expressed to me how much e-communication frustrated her sometimes. I sent her this email and thanked her for being a muuuuuch easier proff to talk to than this guy.

i_like_snow, you're kind of over-posting. I don't think there's an official community rule or anything, but if you could limit yourself to a post every three days or so (1-2 a week), I think that would leave some more airtime for other members of the community to pose questions.

I'm not a mod, so it's just a suggestion.

Just an advisory for the future, a_a doesn't allow people to delete their posts after a number of comments have been made. I quote from the community rules ( ... )
