Okay, here's my story.  In less than two weeks I'll be going to England, and one of the schools I want to apply to is over there, so even though I can't apply until later this year, I want to visit the school and meet with some professors/students, since as a US resident trips to the UK are naturally very scarce for me.  A couple of months ago I ( Read more... )

I'd email the admissions director back and gently remind her/ask her what's going on.

Dude, open house is a normal thing. Universities here are damn happy to have someone take you around the campus. My local only requires one day noticed if you're disabled - i imagine its even more flexible if you're able.

When I replied to your UK question with "Universities here" i was refering to the UK, yes.
