I have two modern research languages: German and Modern Hebrew
I work in: Biblical and Talmudic Hebrew, Koine Greek, Classical Aramaic, and Akkadian.

Do languages influence the admission chances? If yes, to what degree?

It should matter a great deal, since I'm going into Hebrew Bible/Ancient Near Eastern Studies.
