I'm inclined to think that the girls are either working as prostitutes or are third wives of old men or something...always so positive, but wouldn't surprise me whatsoever. It's really easy as a 13 year old to find someone to keep you off the streets if you're just willing to sell you body. Sad, but...

And most likely, they die in childbirth at their first or second child, anyway...
