If Denise Richards is too old, then so is Kate Beckinsale. Jessica Alba is a long, long shot given she has something against too much on-screen showing of flesh.

'Sides, if the new Barbarella is anything like the old one, JA would be showing little more than she already has done with Fantastic Four, et al.

It's been a long time since I last saw the original, so my memory may be exaggerating what was on display.

I'm still considering quite where to cast my vote. None of the options really appeal, yet I've yet to think of a write-in candidate. Mischa Barton is perhaps too young. Lindsay Lohan is perhaps too crazy. Scarlett Johansenn I think cannot act. I am torn. Maybe Eliza Dushku. It'd be nice for her to have more exposure.

From this list, I'd have to go with Kate Beckinsale.

But considering that the epitome of Barbarella is the intersection of innocent and sexy, I really think we should add Kristin Bell and Rachel McAdams to the list.
