got a mac tech question that i need answered pretty quickly

if you are streaming a radio broadcast via your computer
is there anyway to record it?

some type of shareware software?

just need to get a few minutes and don't need to edit it

I seem to have my only but very nasty problem with AppleScript:
Inability to make a command wait for the output of the previous command.
For example now I'm checking for new mail and after Mail have completed the operation, I want to either activate Mail or say "No messages" and quit. But in ( Read more... )

I wish to write a simple script that loads Safari and Mail upon connecting to the internet (by dial-up) and checks for new mail.
The problem is that after

tell app "Internet Connect" to connect

the script doesn't wait until the connection is established.
How can I make it wait?
