an idea...
i recently got an italk for my ipod and loved how it interfaced with it...i.e. how the ipod recognized that it was there and switched to its record menu. what i want to do is write a scrip/ an appropriate piece of sotware that will do the same for my isight, i.e. i want to plug my isight into my ipod and be able to record video with it (directly onto my ipod).
any advice on where i should start (considering that mu knowledge is limited with regards to programmin g and applescript) will be appriciated.
i know that nyko has a piece of hardware out in the market that hooks up with the ipod in its dock that allows you to watch videos loaded onto the ipod (essentially it becomes a mini dvd player). therefore, i think, that i should be able to use the Apple iPod Dock Connector to FireWire Cable to connect the ipod to the isight and be able to work. what i need to do is for the ipod to recognize the isight and allow it to work.
