Why are humans, and human concerns, always the first consideration with you? Why should humans be exalted over Reploids? If you wish for peace...if you wish to avoid further battle... then withdraw from the battlefield and work for justice. This pretense that you play with the Hunters is destroying you as well as ourselves.

Out of all of us, you were meant to be the one that feels more deeply than the rest. If your keepers deny you the opportunity to feel, if you have lost touch with your own nature, how can you expect to save anyone? Human or Reploid?

We are lost children, because our progenitors see us as "Mavericks", problems to be solved, voices to be silenced, machines to be worked and punished, whenever we ask the simplest questions of our world.

I won't deny that human-reploid relations leave something to be desired, but killing them isn't helping.

I don't regret my decision to become a Hunter. I only regret that thinking like yours makes it necessary.

And I only ask you, simply: Please recite for me the names of those humans I have 'killed'. The answer is that I have killed none. The sites of our previous battle were all Reploid encampments, and there were no humans involved in the production of the orbital elevator, either, apart from their initial plans, which were given to me and my drones to complete.

Please find another straw man to prop up if you wish to continue accusing me of war crimes. I have no intention of denying that I did harm, before. However, when my outlets for peaceful resolution now, on better consideration, are blocked at the start, what choices are left to me if I want to live by my beliefs?
