nice sentiment, but we sodding buy stuff for you guys on valentines 2, so if valentines is made purely single sex where the guys just shower us with gifts and we dont even get a card then it is a fair suggestion! :)

erm much as i asolutely despise valentines day, its not just for sodding girls!! girls have to rack their brains and spend shitloads of money on their boyfriends too! xxx

i agree with emma. plus, guys are sooooo hard to buy for! have you noticed on valentines day that 90% of things on sale are either pink and fluffy, red and fluffy or downright pornographic??? I'm sure you guys would love something pink/red and fluffy but i am not going to degrade you buy actually buying it, or myself by buying the pornographic malarky.

and also, guys buy girls underwear on valentines day. fact. however most guys clearly do not buy underwear thinking 'she will really like this, its really practical and she will get a lot of use out of it', they are actually thinking 'she may not wear this more than once, but I want to see her wearing it'. fact. ergo valentines day can be a somewhat selfish affair.

HOWEVER. If steak and BJ day means not going through the trauma of valentines day because we only have to buy meat and (CENSORED) I'm all for it. Shame I missed it this year....role on 2007!

that's ridiculous - women give their men love in that way all the time. besides which as other ppl have said, valentine's day isnt just for the ladies. if you get a girlfriend who doesnt treat you on valentine's day she's not worth her salt ( ... )
