that's ridiculous - women give their men love in that way all the time. besides which as other ppl have said, valentine's day isnt just for the ladies. if you get a girlfriend who doesnt treat you on valentine's day she's not worth her salt.

it's just an excuse for blokes who are already lazy and chauvinistic to objectify women and their sexuality once more.
(can you tell it's "feminist week" in english this week?)
men shouldn't need an incentive to make them try hard for valentine's day; maybe my hatred for the day has made me quite content to settle with a card, who knows. but if you do want to celebrate valentine's, you should do it because you actually love someone, not because you think you'll get a bj off your woman for it. gifts of chocolate etc. are not "payment" for a blow job or sex she'll give you later.

i don't agree with having one specific day where only a man's needs/pleasures are attended to... after all if your girl's any good that should be every day ;) hehe

and surely the whole point of relationships is to show you love your partner all the time, not just on one day? - even further - why does "love", an emotion, have to be shown through a physical act that in itself is submissive on the woman's part?

why don't we make it "nice cooked meal and shagging" day? then both parties get a decent dinner and a good hard fuck. less patriarchal, less chauvinistic, less offensive. if you're any sort of bloke you should be aiming to keep your woman happy.
- and the reason we don't have a "nice cooked meal and shagging" day is that most serious relationships will have this on a regular basis anyway.

basically what's being proposed here is a gross insult to meaningful relationships even more base than that pathetic excuse for valentine's day being raped by commercialism.

and that's my two cents. (or five)
