HIV: By Not Talking About It, Are We All Living on the "Down Low"?

The term "down low" or "on the down low" has come to refer to a man that poses as a heterosexual (usually is involved in a heterosexual relationship) while on the side or "on the down low" is also dabbling in a homosexual relationship. i can empathize with your friend. it's not really "ours" to tell about our partners who are poz. it's one of the pressures of being in a serodiscordant relationship. not really about HIV and stigma so much as protecting the privacy that our partners may or may not desire.

hey, I just wanted to tell you that MY name is Christina Rock, too. I dont know how there are two Christina Rocks on Earth, but Iguess its a small world?

Yes - there usually are people with same names... while christina rock isn't the most common name, it certainly isn't too far out there... out of over billions of people in the world there are bound to be duplicates :) My dad's name is christopher rock, so I was named after him.

Thanks for the comment, I do know Tom in the online sense and we do talk occasionally. I am actually already affiliated with a speaker's organization www.hopesvoice.org and feel that it would be a conflict of interest for me to work for Tom at this time.
