This morning, I was supposed to drive to Northampton, MA to visit a friend. Well, I'm not glad your original plans got cancelled, that's unfortunate. However...I'm glad you had a good night and that something REALLY GOOD came out of it. I've had that similar experience... You go about your life being normal and enjoying yourself, being yourself and you make all these friends just because YOU'RE YOU and PEOPLE LIKE YOU...it seems totally normal and you don't think about it...until you compare it to high school and remember how crappy it was, how shy you (or at least I was a wallflower) were, and how you NEVER felt easygoing and like a totally worthy person, which somehow just happened after high school. I just say..THANK GOD!!! High school is NOT real life...wish I knew that back then!!! There is life after high school...I'd like to go hug every 16 hear old like me and promise them that!!! /end rant. sorry...that hit a nerve...but I'm with you. Starting to know who you are and being comfortable in your own skin and realizing you're a pretty awesome person worthy of others'...it's pretty damn great... ( ... )

So...when do you officially graduate? Will you do some kind of internship? And what area do you hope to work in, and when? (sorry for all the q's...!)

I'm graduating on June 4th! I've already done my internships, so I just take the bar exam at the end of July and hope to get a job soon thereafter! I'm going to work in public interest law, generally, and hopefully also something to do with non-profit law and/or employment discrimination. xoxoxox

Can't say I'm happy, but I can always say that if my seventeen-year-old-self could see me know, she'd probably be pleased. But I feel that way every time I get behind a car or use a credit card. It's like some younger self is saying, "Are you sure you're allowed to do that?"

I've recently become a shameless moocher of internet from my host-uncle. So I'm spending a lot more time online. Which means I'm getting around to doing things I haven't done in a long time. Like check out my friends list. And commenting. Maybe I'll start writing again?
