I accept my fate. I am one of the collective, and I will take my place among the rank and file of my peers, making a silent protest at the stripping away of our identity as we slowly age under florescent lights, wasting daylight hours and certain weekends in order to do work that is COMPLETELY unnecessary, all the while pretending we matter.

Dammit. I was so exhausted when I got home yesterday that I decided to take a nap as soon as I got home from work. I slept from 7:30 last night until 7 a.m. this morning. Woke up with a headache, fever & sore throat. Having trouble focusing at work today. meh.

Ordered pizza for myself and a friend on Friday night (Athena had stopped by to say hello and spend the evening w/ me). I noticed Sunday at my part time job that my eyes were puffy - puffy like i just rolled out of bed after a night of heavy partying - note: i did not party, nor had I just rolled out of bed.
