 I got this book back in September.  I also bought a copy of the author's work on Stalin.  The book on Stalin turned out to be a great investment - it supplied a lot of help for my Soviet History paper.  This book...not so much.

So I saw the music video for "What the Hell" when it leaked yesterday.  Which was great, I finished Within the Whirlwind (depressing) by Eugenia Ginzburg and got to have something fun immediately after.  Memoirs of the Gulags are fascinating but they're depressing and hard to read because of that.  You learn a lot but you're tired after finishing ( Read more... )
