Chapter Three - You want nothing to do with me
--
Kiseop ended up borrowing a pair of Soohyun’s dress pants. Soohyun was a a little bit bigger than him though, so the black pants hung dangerously low on his hips. He examined them in the mirror and decided to pull his black checkered belt off his shorts and put it on, but it didn’t do much to help. At least he knew now the pants wouldn’t fall off when he was walking.
And much to Soohyun’s dismay, Alexander offered him one of his polos to wear. But he dismayed a little bit less when he realized that the shirt was tight over his chest. Kiseop couldn’t button it all the way up so he left the top few buttons open, showing off his collar bones and nicely tanned skin. The shirt barely covered all of his torso.
Kiseop stood in the mirror admiring himself and fixing his hair with a smirk on his face. He could see Soohyun checking him out in the corner of his eye and chuckled to himself. “How do I look?” He asked, turning around and striking a pose. He saw Soohyun smirk as he looked him up and down.
“I still think you look better without clothes off,” he said, reaching out and pulling Kiseop to him. He wrapped his arms around his waist and buried his face into his stomach with a smile on his face.
“AHEM.” Alexander cleared his throat and let out a deep breath. Kevin was standing beside him with a grin on his face. “Didn’t you two just meet today?” He asked, looking up towards the ceiling with a thoughtful look on his face.
“Does it matter?”
“I have needs too, Kevin.” Kevin made a disgusted face and shook his head
“You could at least have the courtesy to make sure people aren’t around when you’re doing it.”
“Aww, that’s half the fun boss.” Soohyun hugged him even closer and grinned at Alexander. “Xander. Oh my god. I have never wanted to thank you more in my life.” Alexander rolled his eyes and started to push Kevin out the door.
“Whatever! Just... whatever!”
--
Kevin couldn’t help but feel a little bit jealous of the blatant displays of affection between Soohyun and Kiseop. On the elevator, Soohyun suddenly turned towards Kiseop and leaned in to nibble on his ear. Kiseop swatted him away and shook his head, face turning a bright shade of red (“Stop that. We’re in an elevator with other people!”). Soohyun’s smirk was something that scared him a bit at Kiseop’s reaction.
He glanced at Alexander next to him. He was trying to ignore the pair behind him, staring intently at the elevator doors. Kevin wished Alexander would do something like that more often. The kind of affection they displayed with each other was more of a best friend type thing. He and Kiseop have probably been more affectionate than he and Alexander have ever been.
The elevator finally stopped, giving Kevin that weird feeling of being squeezed slightly before the doors opened. Kevin grabbed onto Alexander’s arm and smiled, leaning his head on his shoulder as they walked. Kiseop and Soohyun wandered out behind them.
Kiseop looked between the pair in front of him and pursed his lips. “They don’t really display a lot of affection do they?”
“They hit each other. I’ve seen them hold hands. And maybe hug once or twice.”
“Nothing dirty though right?”
“You mean like this?” Kiseop flinched in surprise when he felt Soohyun grab his butt before grinning. “Well, Kevin gets really touchy feely when he’s drunk.”
“Really now? So does Xander.” The two of them smirked at each other.
“Hey you two! Could you hurry up already?” Alexander shouted from across the lobby. It looked like someone else took care of the puddles of water Soohyun and Kiseop tracked in from the pool.
“Coming.” As the four of them approached the doors to the ballroom, they could feel the bass rumbling out from underneath the door. Alexander pushed the doors open and walked inside, followed by every one else. The flashing laser lights shot across the room in random bursts of light.
There was a lot of people. Alexander’s eyes narrowed. Hopefully not over the maximum capacity of the room. They could get a hefty fine for that. Everyone seemed to be on the dance floor, grinding against each other to the mindless, pounding music. Soohyun looked toward the DJ and smiled as he recognized him.
The DJ looked up from his spinning board and squinted towards the open door. He seemed to recognize Soohyun when he raised a hand in greeting. Soohyun waved back and closed the door behind him, disappearing into the darkness.
“Who’s that?” Kiseop asked.
“Kibum. A good friend of mine. He originally worked as a cook but he was a total black hole in the kitchen so I moved him to be a bartender. And the occasional DJ.” The four of them managed to grab an empty table in the corner while Kiseop ordered a round of drinks. Soohyun whispered something into Kiseop’s ear that made him smirk.
Alexander and Kevin eyed the two warily in the dark as the shots were laid on the table. “Let’s play never have I ever!” Soohyun said over the music. Alexander shook his head while Kevin looked curious.
“Why not?” Kiseop said to Alexander. “Afraid we might learn something embarrassing about you?” Alexander eyed Kiseop. His voice was just issuing a challenge to him. “Bring it on!” The four of them pick up shots from the tray.
“Never have I ever... owned a pair of fuchsia underwear.” Kevin glared at Kiseop before downing his shot. Soohyun gave Kevin a weird look and laughed at Alexander’s widened eyes. “Really?”
“They were a gift!”
“No. You bought them.” Kevin tried to burn a hole through Kiseop with his glare. Soohyun pursed his lips while he thought. “Never have I ever owned more than one set of animal print underwear.” This time, it was Alexander’s turn to glare as he downed his shot.
This went on through the night. Kiseop and Soohyun purposely attacking their friends. They could handle their alcohol pretty well, but soon enough, Kevin and Alexander abandoned their game to go to the dance floor.
Soohyun watched with a satisfied smile as they two of the started grinding on each other with abandon. Kiseop laughed before standing up and grabbing Soohyun's arm. “Come on. That looks like fun."
Soohyun let himself be led through the crowd for a moment before he wrapped his arm around Kiseop's waist and pulled his back closer to him. Kiseop could feel Soohyun's breath on his neck and then on his ear before the two of them started to dance.
They felt themselves get lost in the music and physical sensations of each other. Kiseop could feel his mind starting to get sluggish from the shots they did earlier. He vaguely heard the DJ announce some sort of dance contest. Then he vaguely realized that Kevin had dragged him to the middle of the dance floor by his arm, yelling something about dancing and singing.
When the music for Gee came on though, Kiseop just laughed and automatically moved into the dance steps. Though in his altered state, he didn’t realize just how much more exaggerated his movements were. Soohyun shook his head and laughed in the crowd, cheering loudly for both blonds.
Soon, their moment to shine was over, and everyone swarmed back onto the dance floor. Kiseop felt Soohyun’s arms wrap around his waist, hands circling dangerously around the waistband of his pants. Kiseop leaned his head back with a smile and let Soohyun attack his neck on the dance floor. He brought his hand up to run it through Soohyun’s hair.
Kiseop bit back a moan as he felt Soohyun bite down a little bit too hard. Soohyun grinned as he watched Kiseop bite his lip. He was way too hot to be doing things like that.
--
The dance floor quickly became way too hot for the two of them. Soohyun practically dragged Kiseop out of the crowd and to the exit. When the doors were opened, a blast of cold air washed over their skins from the lobby. Kiseop out of his blurred vision could see Kevin and Alexander doing unspeakable things to each other as the elevator doors closed.
Soohyun dragged Kiseop back outside towards the pool again. Kiseop stumbled slightly behind him and gave out a weird laugh. Soohyun rolled his eyes. Kiseop wasn’t any better at holding his alcohol than Alexander and Kevin were.
He pulled him over to the towel hut where a majority of the towels were held. Kiseop accidentally knocked over a stack when they walked inside. He giggled before he jumped onto it, rolling around in the soft fluffy towels.
Soohyun stood there and stared at him in amusement, arms crossed over his chest. “Where in the world is this magical place?”
“The towel hut. I take naps here when I don’t want Xander to find me.” Soohyun collapsed on the towels next to him and nuzzled his face into his neck. “You don’t handle alcohol very well either, do you?” All he got was a snore in response. Soohyun grinned before wrapping a lazy arm around Kiseop’s waist.
--
Kiseop groaned as the sunlight hit his face. He felt his head throbbing before he even opened his eyes. Which he decided against. He heard the familiar clearing of the throat from above him, but it just ground into his brain like a jackhammer.
“Hi boss,” he croaked out. He opened an eye to see Alexander standing over them with a pair of large sunglasses on his face. “Nice shades.” Kiseop didn’t even have to see his eyes to know he was rolling them underneath his sunglasses.
“Go home. Take Soohyun with you.” Kiseop glanced over at the other sleeping male and chuckled to himself. “I will.” Alexander let out a breath and left the towel hut without another word. He probably couldn’t stand it either.
Kiseop leaned over and poked Soohyun in the face. “Yah. Get up. I’m taking you home.” Soohyun groaned and rolled over. “Five more minutes.” Then he suddenly sat up and looked over at Kiseop with sleepy eyes. “Taking me home? Back to your place right?”
“No. Kevin will probably be home with a hangover.”
“Then I’m taking you home. Back to my place.” Kiseop raised an eyebrow. “Why?”
“Why else? So we can finish what we started yesterday.” Kiseop couldn’t help but groan as the older man pulled him up. “Can’t this wait until after my hangover? I want to enjoy this.”
“Nope.”
“You suck.”
“I plan to.”
