well thats the interesting thing
their star formations
apparently on earth they have names and stories behind them
and which one youre born under has a lot to do with personality

and apparently
those names and stories
are strangely familiar

Well, I'm from Earth.
I'm afraid I don't know much about the constellations, though. Sorry.

I'm from Earth.

The only thing I can think of is that we only have one moon, not two like here...

I don't know much about the constellations, though. I learned about the Big and Little Dipper, but I don't quite remember how to find them in the sky.

Interesting. I'll note that, too.

Well, it doesn't just have to be about the sky or stars. What are some things you liked to do on earth?

I like solving puzzles, but I can do that here too. There just aren't as many.

What did you like to do at home?

Me? Oh, lots of things. Exploring, roleplaying, making music boxes...

In modern astronomy there are 88 different constellations defined. Is there anything you would like to know about one of them in particular?

Well, do you know anything about the one called Aries?

It's one of the constellations of the zodiac, surrounded by the Pisces and Taurus constellations. It was already described in the second century, but remains among modern day constellations as well.

Its Latin name means 'ram', and some people visualize the shape of a ram in the stars.

Yes, that's the one! It's part of the "zodiac", right?

My world needs a better name. We just call it the world.

Random facts about it:
- The year I'm from is 1522, Great Age of Pirates, 22 years after Gol D. Roger the pirate King's death.
- We have a world government that rules over the other countries and uses the marines as their military force to hunt pirates.
- The world is mostly ocean, there are no continents, just islands. It's divided into 5 oceans: North Blue, South Blue, East Blue, West Blue, and the Grand Line. The Grand Line and the Red Line are what divide it -- the Red Line is a strip of conjoined islands pressed together that circles the world and the Grand Line is a strip of ocean bordered by Calm Belts where there are no winds and storms and thus breeding grounds for seakings. The second half of the Grand Line is called the New World, which is where I'm from.
- Islands on the Grand Line have their own seasonal weather system in which they're one season all year long.

Any specific questions?

Royalty in my world is considerably different.

Fishmen can live underwater, same with merfolk, but a long long time ago when the World Government took power -- their descendants became what are now known as the tenryuubito. Any whim they have has to be enforced by the World Government. One once demanded that a bridge be built to connect every single island in the world by land and they've been working at it for a thousand years even the idiot who ordered it is long since dead. That said, while slavery is mostly illegal, exceptions are always made for tenryuubito and they prefer to enslave fishmen and merfolk. On principle that they aren't human I guess.

My Pops believed that sins of a father weren't meant to carry onto the sons, eh. Lineage and bloodlines, it's not something I put a lot of faith into. A man shows himself through his strength and actions, not who his blood is from.

i never understood why people
put so much emphasis on blood
i mean i know why we did
but it still struck me as pretty silly
