Michael was standing on the couch, bouncing on one foot while Felicity tried to tie the soccer cleat with the other. They were going to be late for practice if they didn't leave soon, but Michael wouldn't sit still. She knew he was excited, but the kid had too much energy. She finished tying the cleat, before grabbing him by the legs and yanking him gently so that he landed with a plop on the couch. He giggled at the sensation, long hair falling in front of his face, before looking up at her with a wide grin.
"Oh really? Do you know who it is?"
"Nope. He's reeeeeeeeeally tall though."
"Really?" she said softly, before starting to slip on the other shoe. "What else did you notice about him?"
"He's got brown hair, like me! And he's got a bag with him.""A bag, huh?" She finished tying the shoe, before getting up and going to the window. What she saw there made her heart stop in her chest. Of all the times that he chose to show up, she hadn't expected it to be here and now. She ( ... )

She took a breath, before taking a step to the side. "I ... I have to take Michael to soccer practice. But ... you can stay here, while I drop him off? And when I get back ... we can talk."
And she meant talk talk, Aaron, because while she's gone she's going to be calling her brother-in-law to figure out what the hell was going on.
