"Frail" is about the last thing you can call any pioneer woman. I don't know where or when "frail" showed up in our cultural opinions, but I rather think it's been a myth since day one. ;)
lol. Agreed about the grandchildren, I would love to meet them.
As for "frail" women, I think that came about during the Victorian Age with the idea that upper-crust women were too good to do any menial tasks, but would simply oversee the servants while the "lord was away". Personally, I'm a normal male, average size, above-average health, and have met several women in my lifetime who could wipe the floor with me in a stand-up fight. I don't underestimate someone due to gender.
Thank you very much. It does still surprise me that I'm not getting more people telling me how full of crap I am because I'm not just saying what they already think. I am glad that you liked it.
I thought about things that have happened that I never believed would, but most of those kept coming back to "oh poor, woe is me". I didn't want that this week. When I thought about turning the prompt forward instead of back, it seemed to generate a much better post for me.
The idea that I went with was the theory that the "greys" in all the UFO stories are actually future humans as opposed to beings from another planet. In truth, it would take a lot longer than three or four generations for any noticeable change to occur, but saying "30x great-grandkids" seemed too bulky.
