Is there a specific fitness goal? The PT might help you with that. Because it sounds like you're in good shape overall, so you may be trying to achieve something that requires a more specific technique.

My specific fitness goal is still "stop looking like a sack of potatoes" and one of the PTs specialises in fat-burning and muscle-building/toning (they have their personal statements and photos on the wall so you can choose who to work with) but he is also one of the people I am Most Scared Of PT-wise so. SDh vauovdha ova. It's possible I'm just being impatient.

I think a good PT could help you get a good sense of whether you're making progress at a good rate or not, whether there's a more efficient way to get what you want, and also have an outside perspective on how you look relative to how you want to look. (It's hard to be objective about one's own appearance.)

Mm. They're doing free body MOTs this week so I might ask for one on Wednesday and at least find out how badly wrecked they think I am.
