those boots are really cool. the robot zoo event sounds interesting, at least, and clearly lindsay isn't totally opposed to fun, since he actively checked out the aquarium.

i'm with wolfy-writing - of all the things to wake you up with, your brain picked math? i wouldn't have expected that either.

The Robot Zoo itself is a gloriously crappy exhibition aimed at teaching children about biology in a fun way but tbf my favourite thing about the Horniman is that it's very Local Museum, and Local Museums are crappy by law, pretty much (our local museum is Bruce Castle and it's SO RANDOM like "here's a Roman nail we pulled out of the ground! Here's how Alexandra Palace was built! Here's the history of the postal service, and an exhibition of Chinese dissident paintings PLEASE BUY OUR POSTCARDS", and I non-ironically love them; the Horniman also has my favourite thing: A Long Dusty Room Full Of Taxidermy, Some Of Which Has Fallen Over, And Informational Placards Which Are Out Of Date Or Missing Letters. They're like a specific art form.
