Gym bullshit: (132 mins) My excuse for running nonsense this time is just "I looked at the plan for this week and it was literally just 25 minute runs and that sounded boring" which is childish. On the other hand, only doing a 12 minute walk/run cycle meant I wasn't a sweaty wreck and therefore managed to go back up to 40kg on the bench again * ( Read more... )

Doing a non-boring mix of exercise that results in overall more cardio sounds good. There's an article around about how people who do sustained healthy lifestyle stuff don't really have more willpower than the average person, but arrange their lives so they need willpower less. (Eating healthy food that tastes good, limiting calories by a reasonable amount while making food choices to ensure they're never miserably hungry, and setting up exercise routines that are actually fun and interesting.)

What's a toothy tab?

I read this as I am consuming a small pack of nuts, because I wanted to eat nuts, and I feel I am making the right decision now. Thank you.

Uh, kind of solid toothtaste tablet. You chew it and it turns into dilute toothpaste, then you brush.

I have never heard of that! I have a gross history with eating toothpaste, so I would probably enjoy that too much.
