i was kinda worried that the dr. strange would be exactly that, a slightly dull and basic origin story drowning in lots and lots and lots of imagery stuff that i would appreciate more if it WEREN'T an origin story. i actually really like doc strange, and i'm excited about him having a movie, but they REALLY should've skipped his backstory.
