Look at you all awesome in your coat!
Swans are intensely menacing by nature.
You should read the Van Gogh book. It'll make you feel vastly better about "I am producing a lot of crap drawings", "I absolutely cannot do recognizable portraits", and "Everyone in the world is a more accurate draftsman than I am!"

I shall definitely avoid that one. I was just thinking today, if I'd died at 17 as intended I'd have missed a fair bit.

in that first picture you look like you're just waiting for trouble. that's a pretty fabulous coat, tho. and a++ on the boots.
the clematis are so hairy! i always thought they were just flowers.
