Last night I went to see the Mountain Goats at the Union Chapel, where a very excited Finnish dude had come all the way from Finland to see them and was having what looked like a quasi-religious experience. Everyone else in the vicinity got quite invested in him having a good time, which I hope does not mean he goes away thinking London is somehow

Sorry the Little Hater is back. You clearly do make friends (otherwise I wouldn't be typing this), and your writing is not shit. I think more self-promotion probably wouldn't hurt, but I know it's hard (and you do way more than I do, so it's not like I have a right to criticize), and it can take luck to get anywhere in writing.

If I do become famous and successful, I'm totally going to talk you up.

Slim, since this doesn't actually depend on how good you are, and we both agree that when you consider the two of us, there's at least one impressively good writer.
