It turns out if you go to a quiet room in the library you can get a lot of work done very quickly, even if you have a headache, because the internet isn't there to distract you with nonsense. A++ reference library.

That's really interesting. It sounds like you have a clear picture in your head of how this works.

I do NOW. I spent all afternoon tidying up the timeline and so on, and now I have two months of research and test writing to do and then I will book the shit out of this book (or I will completely fail at it! HUBRIS).

Haha, libraries are great. But trick yourself out of Internet too often and your brain will get wise and figure out new methods of distraction (witness: my clean apartment).

Hmm, is it possible that this sort of thing would come out organically in the narrative? I recently read a (Canadian, of course) novel that had one character's horrible life patched together by other people's memories. I mean, that was basically the entire plot, but perhaps it could be condensed for your purposes? It does sound fairly crucial to the plot.

But basically, this story sounds like my thing.

Yeah, that normally happens about half-way through November when everything else in the library suddenly becomes fascinating.

I hope so. I mean, there is going to be a lot of conflict evident.

GOOD GOOD. *cracks knuckles* I have to figure out the secondary characters.
