Jonah and Levi sitting in a tree, D-I-S-S-E-C-T-I-N-G.

The painting remains beautiful.

JONAH AND LEVI SITTING IN A TREE, BREAKING THE LAWS OF MORALITY
FIRST COMES TORMENT, THEN COMES PAIN
THEN COMES THE NEEDLE SO WE CAN START AGAIN

i really like the first drawing, partly for the angle and partly for the teeth sitting on the table. (is it a table? on second glance it looks like it has a door like on a cabinet.) false teeth? someone else's jawbones with teeth still attached? who cares! it's a weird thing to have on a side table and i like it.

In the reference image they're dentures but given the character I think a jawbone is just as likely.

I imagine it's part of the appeal, but that pomegranate seed really looks like a bloody teeth in a bloodless jaw. I find it endlessly fascinating.

Not awful! I can't start doing *anything* else until at least after 8th April, though.

Fingers crossed that it will have gone through round one of proofing by then and there shouldn't be too much for you to find, does that suit you?
