I think I had plans for today but I can't remember what they were. I've made a little progress on the Pygmalion story at long last, maybe I'll ever finish it and be able to start scoping out people to read over it for edits.

Man, I really need to get back to reading The Other Daughter. ruthi lent it to me and I started it, but the whole atmosphere freaked me out so much that I hid it under a pile of other books so it couldn't get me.

(I'm not saying that I got distracted by other books and it ended up buried. I'm saying that I actually consciously hid it under other books because I didn't want to catch sight of the cover and start thinking about it unexpectedly.)

OMFG I did that with The Witches when I was a kid and The Forbidden Game when I was a teenager, I am oddly proud that it was that oppressive and scary :D

Right, I need to get my Kindle sorted.

(I got it for Christmas 2011, and after coming home and unpacking I was still in the middle of sorting out the washing when I walked into the kitchen to find Rob setting it up for me. This made me SO ANGRY that I haven't been able to look at it since, which is a bit of a shame all things considered ;-) )

I didn't use mine to begin with either, because I was annoyed at being bought it! And now I love it. :D

I'm thinking of asking for a kindle for my birthday, but for now I'm just collecting things (slowly) on my kindle-for-desktop app thingy. Downloaded The Other Daughter. :)

Ooh, good plan. They're useful for hanging around outside places waiting (which I imagine you have to do a fair bit of, what with the kids) as well. <3 Have fun with The Other Daughter, playing "spot how many Britishisms Del Managed To Leave In".

Don't remind me, lol. I just finished registering the boys for spring sports, so in a couple weeks I'll have hours of practice every week where I need something to occupy me so I don't have to talk to other parents. :P
