His hands were itching rather badly when he folded them behind his back, bent stiffly at the waist, and muttered in Sherlock's ear, "I know you're not asleep."

Mycroft held his breath, placed a stiff-lipped kiss on the place on Sherlock's head where he would eventually start to go bald, and shuffled hastily out of the room before Sherlock could say anything.

Hah, I was going to put a purging scene in specifically for your enjoyment but I guess I'll save that for either next time or for Sherlock and the Case of Possible Poisoning.

The first John hears about Sherlock's potential poisoning is a contemplative, slightly angry mutter of, "I think there's something wrong with me," but it's by no means the last.

He only mutters, "Oh now you notice," and goes on reading the Guardian, but Sherlock makes a minute sound of pain and his ears prick up at once ( ... )

I figure it's in the same vague continuity as the last one, leaving Mummy kind of a cold and frightening creature. And thank youuuu.

Gosh this is excellent. I love all the details that flesh out Mycroft's life, or rather, the way he doesn't actually change throughout the fic but the relocation from the Diogenes Club to home makes you look at him from a completely different angle. I think maybe my point is that Mycroft is the best?

PRAISE! DELICIOUS PRAISE!

I think maybe my point is that Mycroft is the best?

Mycroft politely demurs to comment but he looks smug. ;)
