I was so very much going to finish this a little earlier but I was distracted by a) my father emailing me and then attempting a conversation and the subsequent near-panic attack, and b) infinitely more pleasantly the wonderful world of BBC Wildlife. It's actually much easier withouth the internet around distracting me, so the commute into work helps and sitting about somewhere that isn't home helps too.

12k in two days, jesus, you really can't shut up, and the worst part is that no matter what your brain says, at least 85% and upwards of those end up being high fucking quality words.

(Weirdly, my brain is having a similar "everything you write is shit and terrible" mope.)
