Hello The Internet, I have just returned from seeing the Mountain Goats at Koko with glowering. It was nice, we talked about her recent trip to Guadalajara and how beautiful Mexico is and all the friends she made, and I think we also spent about 15-20 minutes just describing food at each other; I am possibly the least rock and roll of all Maud's

Oh boy, I totally nearly teared up during you were cool too! Had a lump in my throat and a tickle in my nose but no actual tears. Just want to say that to everyone I know, you know? I think that's what got me. I'm not sure. Just... very familiar, somehow, though I'd never heard it before.

Yeah, it definitely felt very familiar. Like an anthem for all sorts of disparate people, not just at school but in different areas of life, where you want to march up to the person standing on their own and tell them about how awesome they clearly are.
