...That article makes a looot of sense.

Especially this: Some of us, because of the adrenalin rush, switch into performance mode, and we can seem both witty and charming for a short period of time. This tricks people into thinking we are socially adept. It's a smoke screen.

It's a good article, plus there was a whole load of stuff I do but didn't realise was especially aspie? That's kinda cool, like the recognition stuff. I permanantly go "that looks like X." only to be told that's because it is X.

Heh, I don't have the facial recognition problem but I do tend not to talk to people if they're out of their usual context because my brain can't cope. YOU BELONG IN A NIGHTCLUB WHY ARE YOU IN SAINSBURYS. Etc.

It kind of shits me when people complain about characters on TV having drama because of communication fails, too. IT's like HAVE YOU EVER DATED SOMEONE? THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS. HUMAN BEINGS ARE COMPLICATED AND AWKWARD AND DON'T LIKE DISCUSSING THEIR FEEEEEE~LINGS WITH THE PEOPLE WHO GIVE THEM FEELINGS. TRUE STORY.
