Three Stories I Came Up With Which Aren't For Me To Write

I would consider writing the first one, but the church would worship some force of nature and magic-like things would ensue.

And, I had a friend who would love to write the second one (he wrote nothing but government thrillers for awhile), but then he ended up in drug-related trouble and then go out of drug-related trouble, possibly thanks to his repressed gay feelings brother (seriously, though!) and is now a carpenter who does not write.

I tried TV-writing once, and it was such a soul-crushing experience that it is one project I know I will never finish. TV scripts, like play scripts, need an audience. At least with playwrighting, I could pretend that my play would one day see the stage at a Fringe Festival or some other place for new playwrights to showcase their work. TV writing basically felt like "okay, so, I'm about to write something with no audience whatsoever. Right."

Bizarrely similar to the conclusion of the third story, that.

Mmmmhmmm, and I was so specific about what I wanted to see, I have no idea if I want a TV series or some hateful Pomo thing which has elements of the screenplay to it and UGH.

Yes! This is why I added the details. They were/are quite a family. (Their biological mother is a gold-digger who married an aging millionaire, and their biological father attacked his ex-wife's taxi with a tractor; needless to say, the repressed gay feelings brother, the real golden boy, was raised by his grandmother).

PoMo, oh no? If you were Canadian, you'd be up for awards for it.

Clearly this is why YOU have to write it, Canadian.

Kind of, there are some that just don't really work out, but there are several kind of ... metauniverses.

The first one sounds good.

It's also the one I'm least likely to even attempt, it's so far out of my zone.

If you check the "charlie and victor" tag on my LJ there's a much better summary of the story from about 2005/6 or so.
